Meet Mark Herzog

About Mark

Mark is the Founder and President of Herzog Advisory Group, LLC.

Mark has 35 years’ experience leading non-profit healthcare organizations throughout the Upper Midwest, and nearly a decade as a board member and officer of regional and local economic development organizations.  

As a leader Mark has significant expertise in non-profit board governance, development and functions, community engagement and governmental relationships.  He recently retired from his full-time CEO role to focus his energy on helping individuals, organizations and communities achieve their missions and fulfill their potential. As a leader, teacher and mentor he has received many national recognitions and presented programs throughout the nation.  The Herzog Advisory Group LLC helps individuals and organizations meet challenges and fulfill their potential through Change Management, Emotionally Intelligent Leadership, Leadership Development and Coaching, and Strategic Thinking.  

In addition to his work with the Cedar Collaborative and the Herzog Advisory Group, Mark is an Adjunct Professor of Health Management and Policy at the University of Michigan, Faculty with the American College of Healthcare Executives and a Facilitator with the Center for Exceptional Leadership at St. Norbert College School of Business.

Mark holds a master’s in health services administration degree from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor and a Bachelor of Arts degree from St. Lawrence University, Canton NY.
